What is an Export
Development Program?

It is a tailor-made working plan that connects exporters with European importers with a complete program according to the specific needs.

The working plan starts with a diagnosis that gives the exporters an overall review of their current practices and looks for areas of opportunities. After this diagnosis has been made, volume sales targets are set prior to the season. Once the grower is prepared for the season, we support the grower along the negotiations with the buyer in any logistics or payment actions.

Export Development Program

  • 1. Program proposal

    Our first action when we start with the exporter is sharing our proposal with all possible activities that can improve the exporter’s result in a demanding market such as Europe.

  • 3. Buyer presentation and negotiation

    In this step we present the exporter to qualified buyers from Europe that match the needs of both parties. During the negotiation process, we accompany both parties to come to a strategic program.

  • 5. Client Communication

    On arrival at destination of the shipment at the client´s installatinos, we make sure all processes are taken care off properly. We follow up on any challenges that may occur, such as logistics or payment issues.

  • 2. Diagnosis, Projection and Planning

    Together with the exporter, we revise all current export protocols in order to determine what can be improved and which volume can be shipped. We prepare the upcoming season with a sales projection and plan the necessary activities.

  • 4. Seasonal Sales Program

    With a defined volume and interested buyers, we support the exporters in programming a seasonal sales volume, acting upon the market needs.

  • 6. End of Season Review

    Once the shipping season of the exporter has ended, we review the results with the exporter in order to adjust any of the processes in preparation of a following season.
